Judges Critiques
GSDC of America ---October 2002---9 to 12 Puppy Dog
"Twenty-two shown. This was one of my favorite classes. All my winners were very good movers or better. All had excellent temperament. All had clean rears-no dragging toes or locked hocks.
The crowd pleaser and rightfully so. A medium size, very masculine, strongly pigmented dog who has great temperament. He has an attractive head, excellent ears, dark eye, full mouth and correct bite. Shown mostly on a very loose lead, this puppy performed beautifully. In motion he is a very strong mover. His front reach is excellent and he keeps his feet close to the ground. His under-reach is sound and his backstroke is full. He is very good coming and going. An excellent representative of the breed. I only wish he were a little older. He went on to RWD and Best Puppy."

"A nicely constructed black and tan youngster with a pleasing body outline. He has a good head and is of correct size. In motion he is very coordinated-reaches well and follows through. He has strong pigment and a firm back. He will do well."

What a stunning youngster! He has an excellent temperament, good back, clean coming and going and from the side moves with extension while covering ground with very few steps and keeps his feet close to the ground. Congratulations to his owners and breeder Donna Sater. I haven't seen him since the national where he went RWD and BP, and will say, he's maturing nicely. As I later found out, he won a futurity on the west coast and is well on his way to his Championship."

"A 16-month-old male that was the Best Puppy at last fall's National. I admired him then and was so pleased to have him exhibited to me. He is balance personified. Ahtletic in motion, clean coming and going, masculine with a super nice, topline and back. I loved his personality and attitude. Correct head, oval bone and good feet and pasterns add to the picture."
